Ebron's biggest strength is his explosive athletic ability.  He is able to separate off of coverage due to his quick acceleration and his excellent release.  Once the ball is in Ebron’s hands, he is one of the rare TE’s who is a threat to go the distance both on deep seem routes and on crossing routes. He accelerates through the defense like a Wide Receiver would. North Carolina uses him both split out and in-line. He has good hands and consistently high points the ball. He is not a devastating in-line blocker but he is better than his size would indicate due to his feet and athletic ability. He is a good blocker in space due to his athletic ability.

Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Washington. 6'6/266

Amaro is an easy, smooth mover for his size with a large catch radius. Texas Tech uses him like a Wide Receiver mainly in the slot. He runs smooth routes and has excellent hands. He consistently high points the ball and wins in contested situations. He isn’t as explosive as Ebron before or after the catch,  but this isn’t a weakness either. Amaro separates from coverage consistently and due to his size and agility is a good runner after the catch. Amaro has a knack for finding the holes in a zone and presents his Quarterback with a big target. Amaro has the size and athletic ability to be a good blocker. I did notice he loses leverage on his man at times especially in-line blocking.

The first thing that jumps out about Seferian-Jenkins is his size. He is long and thick. He isn’t as athletic as Ebron or Amaro but he’s not a plodder either. He is smooth in the short to intermediate area and has good flexibility to high point the ball. He can even threaten the seam of the defense deep because of his ability to high point the ball, though this won’t be a strength like with Ebron or Amaro. He wins contested situations and he uses his big body to shield defenders from the ball. He’s the best blocker of

the top TE’s. Washington uses him to block Linebackers in space and Defensive Ends in-line, which he consistently wins due to his strength and athletic ability. Bishop Sankey has had several long runs due to his blocking.
